Turnstile will conclude its 2026 touring activity with a free show at the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C., at 3 p.m. ET on Oct. 24. Hopeful attendees are encouraged to make a donation to Human Concern International in support of its humanitarian efforts in Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon here and sign up to RSVP here.

“With your support, we aim to provide food, water, medical care and shelter to families in need in all three regions,” says Human Concern International global director Hassan Wadi, who is of Gazan descent.

The news comes following Turnstile’s Saturday Night Live debut last weekend and amid its extensive tour in support of the 2025 album NEVER ENOUGH and its recent remix collection, NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS. The group plays Austin City Limits tomorrow (Oct. 9) and Form Arcosanti in Arizona on Sunday and will also appear at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival in Los Angeles the weekend of Nov. 14.

Playing the Washington Monument is a natural extension of past free shows Turnstile has staged in its nearby Baltimore hometown. They also follow in the grand tradition of D.C. hardcore pioneers Fugazi’s frequent free outdoor daytime gigs in and around the area at locales such as Fort Reno Park, the National Mall and Lafayette Park across from the White House.

“We always embrace the challenge of doing things that we’ve never done before, because then we never feel like we’re repeating anything and always have the possibility of playing to new people and making new connections, with music leading the way,” Yates told SPIN in 2021. “On a lot of the festivals and things we do where we’re a fish out of water a little bit, it’s always rewarding for us to be able to never necessarily stay in one place. I like to flit around and play different opportunities.”

Turnstile is also looking ahead to 2027, having been announced as one of the headliners for the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona in early June as well as the twin German festivals Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring.
